Pianist Avguste Antonov leads an active career as soloist and teacher. He is Artist in Residence at The Master's Touch School of Music & Performing Arts, LLC. in Grapevine (Texas).
Avguste Antonov has presented recitals in Bordeaux(France), Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and has performed extensively with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, University of Kansas Symphony, Symphonic Choir and the Texas Christian University Wind Symphony. Performance venues have included the Music Education National Convention with the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble and the College Band Directors National Association with the Texas Christian University Wind Symphony.
He has been featured as soloist with the Alton Symphony Orchestra, the Tulsa Camerata, the San Jose Wind Symphony, the Trevecca Symphony Orchestra, the Hardin-Simmons University Orchestra, the Kansas City Medical Arts Symphony, the University of Kansas Symphony and the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble.
Mr. Antonov is a dedicated performer of 20th and 21st century American living composer, and has performed World and USA premieres at venues across North America. Over the years, he has worked with composers Carter Pann, Raina Murnak, Matthew Lewis, Till Meyn, Matthew Saunders, Robert Rollin, William Vollinger and others. In 2012, Avguste Antonov was a music reviewer for the Society of Composers, Inc Region 6 Convention.
Previous seasons highlights included a recital at the Bulgarian Ambassador Residence in Washington, DC and the performance of Carter Pann "Concerto Logic" with the San Jose State University Wind Ensemble.
During the 2014-2015 season Avguste Antonov will perform in Ohio, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. The season will feature many highlights including a live performance for the Kansas Public Radio, the world premiere of Matthew Saunders "Piano Concerto" and a limited tour of Texas.
